- We are towing a crane ship that cannot go for its own engine and a barge. The assignment has so far lasted 14 days. How long we will continue is a bit uncertain, says Per Asle Hærum, skipper on board FFS Atlas.

Cable drums of 350 tonnes from the factory in Halden are transported on barges to Brevik and Moss. Unloading and loading takes place with the floating crane.

- We have also carried out various assistance missions in a couple of the ports we have been to, says Hærum.

Among the vessels that have received assistance are the bulk carrier Trade from the Marshall Islands and the car carrier Thames Highway from Nassau.
