Towing & Mooring

Our tugs are all well-equipped and manned with trained crew to perform a wide specter of towing operations. With a tug fleet with bollard pull ranging from 5 to 100 tonnes at MCR we can always supply the most efficient tug for the desired task.

Normal operations consist of general harbour, harbour assistance, rig moving, ocean-going towing and anchor handling. Farmar is also one of the leading operators within mooring work.

Farmar has over 20 years of experience in barge and hull towing.

• Mooring chains, 42-111 mm in R4-K3 quality.

• Anchors of various types including Stevpris 15 T

• Mooring ropes, 56-88 mm

• Feedtrough, shackles, pendants from 8 to 400 T

• Mooring winches, Yokohama fenders.
