- We are grateful that Equinor has confidence in us and that we get to contribute the most fuel-efficient tugboat in Norway to this important project, says FFS CEO John W. Nilsen.

In recent years, the Equinor-owned ship has undergone an extensive upgrade at a shipyard in Haugesund. Before towing to the Njord A platform again, Njord Bravo stopped by Kristiansund for completion and operational preparations.

- IT'S GOOD atmosphere among the crew. Now we are in offshore mode again, says captain on board, Håvard Enoksen, in one film Equinor has made in connection with the reinstallation of Njord Bravo.

The Njord field was put into production in 1997. The storage vessel is now prepared to be able to operate for another twenty years.

FFS ATHOS was one of several boats that contributed to the tow of Njord Bravo from Kristiansund to the Njord A platform. The cable boat is considered Norway's greenest of its kind. It has four diesel engines with a total of 5,600 horsepower. In diesel electric mode, it manages with an engine equivalent to a small truck.

FFS Athos can thus go in so-called e-mode to and from the towing missions. It saves the environment from emissions and the customers from costs.
